Today’s meeting entailed an exciting new revelation for Team Radiator. Keeping busy Tweeting, Bob dug up a rather interesting previous print advertisement created by a Sydney firm for Radiator which raised a few eyebrows when bought to the boardroom table this evening. The print… Improve your Flexibility… is accompanied by a rather eye-catching (to say at the least) image. The ad integrates humour and the theory of ‘sex sells’ and is very much straight to the point. These factors directly target the large demographic of Australian surfers (age 18-30).
Inspired by Lion Nathan’s series of television ads for its Hahn Super Dry brand, we feel the need to jump outside of the box and try ad copy with a bit more ‘edge’. These ads could be screened a million times over during my favourite soapie Home & Away.. and I would still love them! They follow the humour, sex and straight to the point angle. And it works a treat! Their latest series of ads all end with… Every call you make affects your Man Brand, Stay Premium – Gentlemen… Establishing a direct brand identity through one sentence. Simple. Effective. Memorable!
